The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has omitted crypto from its latest document on examination priorities for 2026, prompting speculation about the industry’s regulatory future. This comes after the US crypto industry has experienced a significant boom under President Trump’s administration, which has largely worked to deregulate the sector.
