Changpeng CZ Zhao, the former CEO of Binance, has voiced his opinion on the potential of AI tagging on-chain for the cryptocurrency industry. In a recent online post, Zhao mentioned the possible efficiency and eliminative bias advantages that could enhance the crypto payment process. With AI data conducive for on-chain utility, it provides a platform for low-cost labour at a global scale, removing any geographical bias while instantly paying workers in cryptocurrency.
Zhao emphasized on the potential of implementing AI data by referencing Binance’s BNB Greenfield with its integrated capabilities for AI data. However, he recognized that the creation of additional tools is necessary for the full realization of these potentials, ending his statement with an inspiring call to action: “Let’s build them.”

AI Innovations in the Crypto Sphere
Interestingly, the past year has seen countless AI-driven breakthroughs in the crypto industry. One classic example includes Truth Terminal, an AI bot with a peculiar obsession for internet memes. This AI bot inspired viral meme coins like GOAT and FARTCOIN, both of which enjoyed skyrocketing market caps in a relatively short time frame.
Another exciting AI advancement in the crypto world is an AI-run token named Flavia, modelled after a fabricated internet personality. This token was the brainchild of Trevor McFedries, Brud’s CEO and co-founder.
Blockchain Integration
Regarding blockchain integration, a company called Injective introduced an innovative software development kit labeled iAgent. This efficient tool allows users to construct on-chain AI agents capable of executing natural language processing for trades and payments. Moreover, it can automate interactions with databases, APIs, and applications, leading to optimized operations in the crypto space.
